Wow I forgot I had this

Readers...I'm so sorry! I totally forgot I had a dolly blog and every time I resolve to stay updated I forget!

After having the same dolly family for a while now, I've decided to make a change. I'm going to give a Bambicrony a shot. I usually stick with Fairyland for their amazing posability but they don't make a Yo sized doll in tan which, until recently, Bambicrony did.

I placed an order for an Ozzy's Roko in early December and I'd been hearing reports of BC tan dolls being messed up, and that's why they stopped production. I was tossed between Roko and Kumi (my first Ozzy's love) but I'd seen Kumis so I decided to go with something different. I got the Roko with the little vampire fangs and I was concerned because it's so different from my normal asthetic but I think it'll be alright.

Yoon said my Roko should ship the end of February but BC tends to promise dolls and not deliver. Then I saw a fangless Kumi on the DoA marketplace (I prefer her sans fangs) so I decided to get her. I had to sell Carleigh to do it but ever since she'd come back from her faceup with Leah Lily her character was going in a direction I didn't really like. She'd become older and more mature and I like my Pukifees to be little kids. I will get another one eventually but as most people would guess it would most likely be CUPID!

Nuri got her makeover over the summer and she got restored fully as a Garden of Dolls PpoPpo by Buff along with a more natural faceup. I also changed her wig into a auburnish curly one from Ruby Red which suits her nicely.





I still have Artemis and Macchiato. Artemis is exactly the same as she always was except she now has a sleeping plate. Macchiato is her same hyper-caffinated self but Fairyland has a new braided wig I'm bugging them to try to get in black :) I'll have to update when the Ozzy dolls get here...I can only afford to keep one so stay tuned as to which one I pick!

Dolls of Course!

Sorry for another prolonged absence...school has started for me again and my health is starting to decline again now that I'm back in school...and I had a car accident that left me with a head/neck injury.

My dolls have been the same. I'm trying not to get any more dolls but the Puki Ante just has me smitten so I might get her later on but Macchiato really prefers not to share her room :)

Artemis has a sleeping plate now; I don't remember if I posted that before but if you want to see her sleeping with my dad's Dachshund, Oscar, hop over to my flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/reinedelaseine14) to see them! I've also gone a little nuts getting clothes for her and right now she's the girl I'm focusing the most on.

Carleigh's finally gotten into her spot with Leah Lilly after a very long wait. She should be back here in a few weeks and I'll have to remember to post photos of her new faceup. I was toying with the idea of scrapping her and getting a Cupid because let's face it...I'M CUPID CRAZY!!!!

I still have Nuri of course...she actually just got a new hat I need to take pics of. I had gotten a grab bag of stuff from eightl0ngmonths and there was a beret that had purple stars and skulls on it...PERFECT for Nuri! I haven't taken it off of her since.

I am taking jewelry commissions again...I'm working on a piece for DraconicMaiden but ti's tough because I don't have a Minifee anymore. I'm going off of neck measurements and kind of gauging how things look on Artemis. Might ask my parents for a Bobobie or a Resinsoul for Christmas...something not expensive but a sculpt I still like. I might not bother though because my Littlefee is helpful in determining some sort of scale.

I got a call so I lost my train of thought...let's end with some piccies shall we?

Who goes there?

I haven't been around in quite a while...school, friends and life have prevented me from updating my blog (along with being forgetful and lazy) but there has been no wavering in the resin obsession of course!

The Mina version of Nuri didn't work out. After months of having her head stashed on a shelf or in a box full of other crap...I got my Garden of Dolls PpoPpo head restored and Nuri's back in her original form. I also found out they're no longer being made and even the woman who created her is selling her own doll!!! I almost bought it to put on my heavily modified body but then Buff from DoA said that she can make my girl like new again! She did an awesome job save for a tad of pink stuck on the lips but I wanted to keep their original shape. Now she has a natural faceup with worried eyebrows and her trademark star by her left eye. I took photos of her and she looks like a 13 year old stuggling with fitting in, especially as a teen with a disability. I'll have pics later.

Artemis is exactly the same...I haven't changed her. No need to...except that after a year of looking, I finally happened upon a sleeping faceplate with the FL faceup. It's coming from Poland I think so she'll finally take a nap...which goes well with her new pajamas I got at the mall a few weeks ago.

Carleigh's also remained unmodded...she will eventually be getting a faceup from Leah Lilly as her FL one is chipped on the eyebrow, cheek, and lips by me dropping her or by her getting knocked over. This kid is spoiled rotten with Re-ment and Ruby Red Galleria shoes :)

MACCHIATO. Of course...I'm nuts over her STILL. She now has THREE wigs and is now waiting for her new Mimi's Stuff clothes and shoes to come from England. Almost all of her clothes are custom made now and I am thinking of doing a closet cleanout as she has SO MUCH stuff just for one Puki!

Dolly Crypt?

Sorry I've been away for so long!!! I was doing fairly well in updating but life just got in the way.

My doll family's changed a bit. I traded off Guillaume for a LTF Chiwoo Elf who I've named Artemis (after the goddess) and I'm still really pleased with her. I even was able to get a hold of green glitter eyes and kitty shoes! I went all out and got her the Leeke Wendy in Sandy Brown and it's a DREAM! Here's a pic for your viewing pleasure:



I also was able to FINALLY have an Elfdoll Hana...and best yet it's the Halloween Wizard which is an LE of 50! I kept the name Hana...she is a little bitch LOL...always pouty and grumpy:



I ran across some financial problems and had to sell some dolls...Lua and Cordelia had to be sold which made me very very sad...but it turned out the new owner didn't like Lua so I got her back because of my very good friend who saw her at a meetup. I have a little Fairyland Welcoming Committee:



Did you see that little cutie? She's a Pukifee Bonnie...now I can see why people love Lati Yellows...I believe this is my favorite size of all...noticeable but not as hard to carry around as a Littlefee. She's Artemis's sister and is only three years old (Artemis is eight). She's afraid of Macchiato and her endless caffeine-induced energy:

Macchiato is here!

I can't help it...I got this girl the other day and she just...makes me giddy inside :) Her resin is darker in the pictures and it was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! I changed her grey eyes to purple which I really wound up liking as they were supposed to be dark brown. Sadly the magnet fell out of her foot already and it's been glued in backwards so right now she has no left foot. But she's precious anyway!

Some Cordelia Love (and other dolly news)

It's been a long while since I updated this blog but many doll plans have been underway since I last wrote. I did have to sell some dolls...mostly because I wasn't playing with them and also because my sister had something come up and I felt it was my duty to help her. I also sold Miss Pygg and I miss her so much...but I'll get her back someday...

Now that's all done and I was able to do some more doll related things...mainly getting Nuri back from Amira Rose and getting my shipping notice from Fairyland for Macchiato :) I also adopted a neglected Orientdoll Wol from the Marketplace on DoA that I'm waiting for. Guillaume is also getting a WS Pipi as a sister and I've just bought her faceplate.
