Dolly Crypt?

Sorry I've been away for so long!!! I was doing fairly well in updating but life just got in the way.

My doll family's changed a bit. I traded off Guillaume for a LTF Chiwoo Elf who I've named Artemis (after the goddess) and I'm still really pleased with her. I even was able to get a hold of green glitter eyes and kitty shoes! I went all out and got her the Leeke Wendy in Sandy Brown and it's a DREAM! Here's a pic for your viewing pleasure:



I also was able to FINALLY have an Elfdoll Hana...and best yet it's the Halloween Wizard which is an LE of 50! I kept the name Hana...she is a little bitch LOL...always pouty and grumpy:



I ran across some financial problems and had to sell some dolls...Lua and Cordelia had to be sold which made me very very sad...but it turned out the new owner didn't like Lua so I got her back because of my very good friend who saw her at a meetup. I have a little Fairyland Welcoming Committee:



Did you see that little cutie? She's a Pukifee Bonnie...now I can see why people love Lati Yellows...I believe this is my favorite size of all...noticeable but not as hard to carry around as a Littlefee. She's Artemis's sister and is only three years old (Artemis is eight). She's afraid of Macchiato and her endless caffeine-induced energy:

Dolls Make the World Go Round...

I swear these little bits of resin give me way too much joy sometimes...I knitted a tiny blanket for Lua...afer a few frustrating attempts. I'm trying to make one for the other Puki bed too in yellow but I'm running into the same problem: a giant loop towards the overhand knot you make to cast on. I put the project on hiatus due to sheer frustration and aching hands.

Lua won't get out of bed now...



Hana is also impatiently waiting for a Hannah Montana bed I got her off Etsy...

Happy 4th of July!

My hands have been shaking like crazy lately so my photos are a tad blurry but I got this cool dress from Latidah along with a cute flag! It's perfect for Cordelia's microphone hands...





My Hana shipped on Wednesday so I should have her soon as well...her wig from the fullset is going to Ivy and I'm getting her a Monique Paris wig in Black from Facets by Marcia...she's going to look great by the time I'm done with her!

New to the Crew

Well I've done it now!

I've been eyeing the Elfdoll Hanas for a long time...knowing they were limited...but aweful of their intense expressions and many different faceplates.

I managed to get a hold of a Halloween Hana Wizard...LE of 100 worldwide...by far the rarest doll I've ever owned. Mine won't be a boy though...Hana is going to be a girl...a horrible mean girl that no one likes because she's grumpy all the time. The Pukis call her Snot and Ivy is a bit fearful of her even though they are the same age. Hana's that girl in your fifth grade class that no one dared to cross...every fifth grade class has that ONE girl...I know mine sure did!

She still needs a wig...oddly the fullset comes with a reddish wig even though the eyebrows are black...curious...so I need a black wig which will make her look even more severe.

I'm excited about this one...all my dolls up until now have been for the most part nice citizens...even with a little attitude...but this girl will be the rotten apple of the bunch.

Macchiato is here!

I can't help it...I got this girl the other day and she just...makes me giddy inside :) Her resin is darker in the pictures and it was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! I changed her grey eyes to purple which I really wound up liking as they were supposed to be dark brown. Sadly the magnet fell out of her foot already and it's been glued in backwards so right now she has no left foot. But she's precious anyway!

Some Cordelia Love (and other dolly news)

It's been a long while since I updated this blog but many doll plans have been underway since I last wrote. I did have to sell some dolls...mostly because I wasn't playing with them and also because my sister had something come up and I felt it was my duty to help her. I also sold Miss Pygg and I miss her so much...but I'll get her back someday...

Now that's all done and I was able to do some more doll related things...mainly getting Nuri back from Amira Rose and getting my shipping notice from Fairyland for Macchiato :) I also adopted a neglected Orientdoll Wol from the Marketplace on DoA that I'm waiting for. Guillaume is also getting a WS Pipi as a sister and I've just bought her faceplate.

This is my cutie Cordelia who I've had for a long while now...I love this girl to pieces and she's Lua's new best friend...here are some photos of her reading, wearing her EDNF shirt (by Spampy) and some other random shots that show how precious she is.

Faites la connaissance de Guillaume!

Guillaume came on Monday and he's awesome! I thought he'd be heavier than he is...but he still poses really well...he's double jointed just like me! He wears mostly Ken clothes and the poor kid has no shoes :(

I'm waiting for some clothes and an extra set of hands for him...he's a guardian angel...he's supposed to watch over the Puki :D

I have a TON of photos that I need to upload and pick through.

I got Guillaume and my Bei on Monday and ordered a ChocoPuki Cupid last Friday which I'm really excited for!!!

I also may be publishing my work in a BJD coffee table book proposed by another DoA member.

I'm awaiting some secondhand Spampy clothes and have placed an order with her myself...I love Spampy's things (she made that ice cream shirt Lua is wearing in a pic of her here)

This is just a quick update...I see Blogger's going to be shut down at four for something so I suppose I'll use that time to finalize which pics I'm going to post up here and to upload more after I'm done taking photos for my sales threads.

Bella Lua

I haven't been able to put Lua down lately...she's been having a beautiful week...her blush was rubbing off so I fixed it and have been taking her everywhere as she just has such a cute face. I decided that if I were to have to get rid of all my dolls and just have one, it would be Lua.



I was able to get her face just right...I bought that dress off of DoA and that is my favorite dress on her; it's totally her style.



These are her dainty shoes. Usually the Puki wear Kelly shoes because it's so hard to find nice shoes that tiny. Fairyland, who produces the Puki, sells these shoes!!! Luckily they've begun to make other styles too which lead to well dressed Puki!



I'm glad I can get her hair in braids without having them stick out anymore...must be because I dampened the wig to let all the frizzies come out. I'm still in love with those flower clips! The shirt was a gift to me from Jenifer aka Spampy (her site is here)

I can't stop playing with this little girl. Hopefully I won't have to!

(PS: I'm thinking of getting a Chocolate Skin Pipi and naming her Umbra)

I really love Penelope...her arms are a little funky so that's the closest her hand can get to her face but it is like she is blowing a kiss to me.



I love this outfit on all my dolls...the hair clips I just got at CVS...a really great find! I've been asking on DoA what people do for other hair clips besides triangle clippies and plain jaw clips.



I'm holding her in my hand...such detail for such a little girl!
